"Expressive white, creamy and lightly juicy throughout, offering flavors of blood orange granita, fresh tarragon, yellow peach and mineral, set in a light-bodied frame. The finish is juicy." ~ Wine SpectatorRoberto Anselmi had a vision of transforming his family winery. He took over the business from his father, replanted the vineyards, and cut production by 2/3 in order to focus on quality versus quantity. We think he's done a great job. His Anselmi San Vincenzo Bianco is deliciously floral and citrusy, with terrific acidity. It's a great value too! Try your first glasses with an aged chevre. We love the chalkiness of the cheese against the floral nuances of the wine. For the entree we can't do without pappardelle with zucchini and mint-parlsey pesto. It's a wonderfully fresh dish for this lively San Vincenzo. Fresh tuna salad mounded in a perfectly ripe avocado half is a terrific lunch or light dinner option. Chicken marinated with apricot preserves, scallion, garlic, ginger and white wine done on the grill is another good choice. Che cosa siete affamati di, winelovers?
