"Impeccably balanced and loaded with class..." ~ Wine Enthusiast

Once again, the Tuscans have over-delivered on a food friendly home run of a wine. We know; you're not surprised... It's got very limited production (only available in half bottles elsewhere online so pay close attention). The Le Chiuse Brunello di Montalcino is perfect with roasted and grilled meats and vegetables, tomato based pasta dishes, cured meats and lots more. Get the ball rolling with grilled vegetable pizza bites alongside your first glasses. Bring out the delectably earthy side of the wine with a sage, parmesan and garlic-stuffed pork roast. Marinated lamb kebabs with onions and eggplant will highlight the beautiful tannins. And because the combination is nothing short of delicious, try a tomato butter sauce over spinach and ricotta raviolis. Refill your glasses and savor them with an Italian Grana Padana Stravecchio cheese. Any questions?

Wine Enthusiast: Designated Cellar Selection. "Dark-skinned berry, forest floor, pipe tobacco, new leather and balsamic notes float out of the glass. On the elegantly structured palate, taut, polished tannins and vibrant acidity frame ripe red cherry, exotic spice and aromatic herb flavors. A lingering star anise note announces the close. Impeccably balanced and loaded with class, it's still young and needs time to fully develop. Drink 2022–2037." Apr 2017 (Advance)

Winery:  "Le Chiuse Brunello is a clear wine, bright garnet red in colour. It has an intense persistent fragrance, pure and full-bodied. Various fragrances can be recognized, from forest fruits to light vanilla. To the taste the wine is smooth and elegant, dry with an excellent persistent of aroma. It ages well, improving with time. It should be served at a temperature of 18-20°C, the bottle having been left in a warm place for at least 24 hours and uncorked several hours before serving. Every vintage has its own determining characteristics and features." ~ Simonetta Valiani
