Jonathan Newman:  "This spectacular Reserve Sauvignon Blanc from Napa’s Kingsford Manor is a very special wine. Expressive aromas of pink grapefruit and peaches. Wonderfully crisp and refreshing with a delicious mouth feel with beautiful vibrant fruit including ruby grapefruit, pear, lemon zest and mango. Only 800 cases produced."  Learn more about Jonathan Newman.

Santo's Wine Journal:  "Light in color like a fine Champagne. Nose like a nice New Zealand, but the palate is one of a wine from California wine. Light with a good acidity and a nice green apple crispness. The finish with notes of light oak chips."

Wired For Wine:  The Kingsford Manor is outstandingly food friendly, so we suggest you pour a cool glass and enjoy it as an apéritif while you plan your menu. This bright Sauvignon Blanc can show off chicken, anything that lives in the ocean, grilled pork, and turkey.  The fresh citrus notes in the Kingsford are perfect for a garlicky shrimp scampi.  Serve it over a bed of rice or next to some fresh, warm crusty bread.  With that, why not sauté up some asparagus in extra virgin olive oil and, after they are nicely browned, sprinkle with fine sea salt.  This meal can either begin or end with salad composé with some goat cheese on top.  Make mine a big serving!
