Wired For Wine: Delicious Pinot Noir from trustworthy J. Lohr.  The Crosspoint Pinot Noir has bright fruit, and vibrant classic cherry undertones.  Look for aromas of cherry jam, rhubarb and stewed strawberries with a faint touch of sage underbrush spiciness. This Pinot Noir has a light, soft texture and comes with mouth-filling fruit flavors.  Very nice for the price.

Crosspoint makes an ideal accompaniment to roast duck with dried cherries, grilled wild salmon, pork loin, and veal- or mushroom-based risottos.   On the simpler side of cooking, it also goes great with a classic roast chicken....a little sea salt, a drizzle of oil, and you're good to go!
