A little different than the rest, we're really a bunch of foodies who only sell a few acclaimed wines, well-curated and discounted, and (almost) always paired with a great meal. Almost all of our clients get free shipping because we keep the threshold required for free shipping very low.

Who We Are

Tanya Tuccillo - Joie de Vivre, Customer Care, and Content Management

Having lived in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia for over 25 years, let us say that Tanya has finely honed her oenophilia and culinary skills. After NYU, Tanya got her retail start at Macy's before she realized her true calling as a gourmand and co-founder of Wired For Wine.

Evans Gebhardt - Marketing, Operations, and Bottle Opener

After a little too long in a marketing career at Clairol/Bristol-Myers, CheapTickets/Orbitz, and then super cool but grounded start-up Eos Airlines, Evans decided to follow his passion for e-commerce and all things vinous by partnering with Tanya to start Wired for Wine.

Chef Rachel Willen - Consulting Chef

Creator of the popular food blog, Food Fix Kitchen and founder of a "mobile" cooking school that inspires students to "eat well, cook well, live well", Rachel was classically-trained at The French Culinary Institute in New York City and has earned the title "Champion" on Food Network's "Chopped ".  She has appeared on Good Morning America numerous times and is a contributor to ABC NewsHuffington Post and NJ Monthly magazine.  To learn more about Rachel, check out Food Fix Kitchen.

Cynthia Barcomi - Consulting Chef

An avid cook and baker since childhood, Cynthia opened her first shop, a coffee roastery and bakery, Barcomi's Kaffeerösterei, in Berlin, Germany in 1994 and has never looked back. In 1997 she opened her second shop, Barcomi's Deli in the ultrahip Mitte neighborhood of Berlin, and in 2007 published her first baking book.  After the success of that book, Cynthia published Kochbuch für Feste, a book about celebration food. In 2010 she published her next book, Backen – I Love Baking.  In March 2013 she published her latest book Let’s Bake.  Cookbook number 5 is titled Cookies, and number 6 is in the works! Her five best-selling baking & cookbooks are inspired memories and dreams which bridge the cultural gap between classic American cuisine and her love for Germany.
